When you say programing the Amiga is eaiser it is because it has a
smaller nicer API set of calls to the operating system to make windows
and all that, however windows has simualar type commands but there are
just many more of them and it gets much more complex. But to help remedy
that compiliers like Visual C++ with App Studio or VC++ 2.0 make life
alot easier because they do alot of automatic code generation that amiga
compiliers don't do. So a couple of years ago amigas were easier to
program but now compilers on Windows are so powerfull they alow easier
programing of a more complex inviroment if all that makes since.
I am sure the main reason Lightwave PC came out first it because there
are only Allan and Stuart programing away for the most part and last I
heard they were doing all the ports also (as a computer engineer I can
say this type of programer is rare!) So the Windows version is most
obviously more important than the Amiga hence its release first.
